Position Overview
The Technical Sales Manager drives the sale and adoption of GenISys’ software products for Europe. Topics are on lithography corrections, process simulation, and layout optimization as well as advanced SEM-based image analysis, metrology, and inspection.
Duties focus on pre-sale, e.g. promotion and demonstration of products, technical support of evaluations, as well as quotations and closing for sales. Moreover, they include basic post-sale support: installation and training, help with resolving customer issues, feed technical requirements back to product management. The Technical Sales Manager actively develops the business with existing and new accounts by combining sales and first level technical support, being part of the whole Europe and headquarters team.
Job Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, and accountable person that strives on working in an international environment in research and technology.
- Successful degree in a natural science or engineering discipline paired with 3+ years of experience in technical support and/ or sales of lithography, nanofabrication, and microscopy solutions
- Experienced engineer with demonstrated talent for creativity and execution
- Broad understanding of Laser, e-Beam and Projection Lithography systems, nano-fabrication processes, and scanning electron microscopy
- Good IT background, familiarity with Windows and Linux OS, high-level scripting/ programming skills (e.g. Python) in the CAD environment
- Individuals with a strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and being able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills are preferred
- Able to uncover new business opportunities and manage the sales process
- Motivated team player, enjoy working with customers, strong communication skills
